Hi, I'm Adrian
I teach piano, music theory, musicianship and leaving certificate music.
I believe that anyone can learn how to play the piano very well. The main requirements are a good teacher, a decent instrument, regular (and not too much) practise, and most importantly, a belief that you can do it!
My mission is to provide excellent music tuition to students of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
For young musicians, it is vital that they get the right kind of training from the very start, so that they develop good habits and practise techniques. For adult learners, one of my aims is to help develop confidence in their own abilities, and to remove any negative preconceptions they have about starting or continuing piano at an older age.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch with me for lessons, advice or any other musical queries. Thank you.

Education, Experience and Performance
I have over 20 years’ experience in music education, and have taught at some of the best-known music schools in Ireland, including Waltons New School of Music, Dublin, and W.I.T. Music School, Waterford.
I began my formal music education at D.I.T. Conservatory of Music & Drama, Dublin (1995-97), then earned a BA in Music from Waterford Institute of Technology (1997-2001), and later pursued an MA in Music Composition at University of York, U.K. (2001-02). I continued to further my piano studies at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin (2004-06).
I am currently studying with Dr. Archie Chen at Piano Academy of Ireland, and take intermittent one-to-one masterclasses with Finghin Collins, as I prepare for my Associate Diploma with Trinity College London as well as a programme of Mozart, Chopin, Brahms and Rachmaninov for public recital performance next year.
